Nicelle has always held a deep appreciation for astrology. For years, she has gleaned meaningful insight from her own chart—inner work that has helped guide her personal journey and provide comfort in an often challenging, ever-evolving world. After years of using astrology as a means of self-exploration, Nicelle took an interest in working with clients to help them do the same.
Nicelle began her formal education in 2016, completing all three levels of Debra Silverman’s Applied Astrology courses. As a natural advocate and compassionate teacher, Nicelle has been sharing her knowledge and experience with clients and students since 2018. Today, she continues to support Debra’s teaching efforts and provide ongoing mentorship to program participants.
In 2020, Nicelle became a certified death doula and end-of-life planner by completing the Going with Grace course. She also apprenticed under Robin Rose Bennet for three months, giving her a wealth of insight into Herbal Medicine and Earth Rituals. As a life-long learner, Nicelle is currently undergoing intensive training on topics such as lunar apothecary, tarot, and herbalism.
On a personal note, Nicelle is a Hawaii-based practitioner who feels a deep connection to the natural world that surrounds her home. She loves cats, traveling, and a great meal served alongside a delicious glass of wine.
When scheduling a reading with Nicelle, clients provide the basic information she needs to build out their unique natal chart. This information includes the client’s date, time, and place of birth. Before their meeting, Nicelle will spend time getting to know the client’s chart, developing insights, and crafting questions to guide the one-on-one conversation.
Typical readings run for 75 minutes and consist of three major sections: a general check-in, an overview of the chart’s impact on character, and an overview of the impact astrological placements are currently having on the client’s experiences. Nicelle effortlessly moves through each segment, creating space for questions, emotional processing, and opportunities to address specific concerns as needed. She utilizes a social justice framework, acknowledging the presence of feminine and masculine energy while also recognizing—and expanding on—astrology’s historical reliance on the gender binary.
Nicelle’s clients leave readings with a deeper understanding of themselves and tangible tools to help improve their emotional and physical well-being. Nicelle’s thoughtful perspective and caring approach provide each person with invaluable insight into their personal journey, an understanding they undoubtedly carry well into the future.
